Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Project Quality Manager to lead the project-wide QA program at an Idaho Falls location. The role requires developing and enforcing a Project Quality Plan, overseeing QA staff, and ensuring compliance with DOE/NRC standards. You will drive continuous improvement and act as the quality leader on the project team.

The PQM will manage quality processes, audits, and corrective actions while collaborating with client teams to meet contract requirements and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering, science or technical field preferred.
• DOE/NRC nuclear quality experience desirable.
• Strong communication, leadership, and CI/TQM mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a contract-specific Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Review subcontractor quality plans for contractual compliance.
• Ensure QA staff are trained, qualified, and resourced for PQP execution.
• Lead Nuclear Quality Assurance program in construction, including issues management and inspections.
• Mentor junior QA/QC personnel and maintain client relationships with a nuclear safety focus.
• Coordinate QA audits, corrective actions, and trend analysis to mitigate risks.
• Develop ITPs and ensure project turnover documentation is complete and organized.
