Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Project Engineer for its Nuclear License Renewal group. You will support SLRA projects across multiple sites, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. You will manage client relationships and help shape the future of our license renewal work.

The role requires 6+ years in nuclear or power engineering/PM, a relevant engineering degree or PMP, and strong communication. Travel is possible; a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP Certification with 8 years of experience.
• Familiarity with NRC, NEI, and EPRI guidance documents for License Renewal.
• Minimum 6 years in nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or PM.
• PE license is preferred.
• Ability to work with budgets and accounting processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Orchestrate strategic project management for SLRA initiatives and client deliverables.
• Engage clients, build relationships, and guide projects to successful outcomes.
• Drive business growth by identifying opportunities and shaping proposals.
• Mentor junior engineers and SMEs to develop leadership skills for future SLRA work.
• Support leadership development paths, with opportunities to specialize or lead teams.
