Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Nuclear License Renewal Group in delivering Subsequent License Renewal Application projects that extend operating life at nuclear facilities nationwide. You will lead complex engineering tasks, plan and execute projects, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complete, accurate SLRA submissions to the NRC.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering (or PMP with 8 years' experience), 6+ years in nuclear/power industries,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or PMP with 8 years' experience)
License Renewal experience and familiarization with NRC, NEI, and EPRI related guidance documents
Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
PE - Professional Engineer License is preferred
Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a week

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver plant-specific solutions with quality and on schedule
Manage client relationships and drive project success
Develop proposals and identify opportunities to drive growth
Mentor junior engineers toward future SLR specialization
Prepare and manage budgets and schedules across projects
