Tennessee Valley Authority in Decatur, Alabama and Chattanooga, Tennessee seeks a Project Control Specialist B to plan and execute project tasks with minimal supervision within the Nuclear Power Group. You will monitor progress, cost and schedule, and collaborate across disciplines to maintain baseline performance and ensure compliant reporting.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Accounting, Economics, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Marketing or other related degree; three (3) years minimum of related work experience.
• OR high school diploma/GED and five (5) years minimum of related work experience
• Certification by Project Management Institute or AACE is desired
• Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted plant access and medical qualifications when applicable. If applicable, must be able and willing to assume “on call” rotational assignments which may include 24 hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week availability depending on demands.

Responsabilidades

• Track and update progress, variances, key performance indicators, and control changes.
• Analyze cost and schedule trends compared to baselines; review and make recommendations to improve project performance to management.
• Implement standard methods for project performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, trend assessment, scheduling, and estimating.
• Communicate cross-functionally to collect and input data into PM tools and software.
• Prepare, coordinate, review and distribute project and/or work management reports; including progress, financial, and risk reports.
