Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) has an opening for a Project Control Specialist B on a TVA contract in Chattanooga, TN. This 11-month assignment starts October 2026 and pays up to $56/hour, depending on experience.

You will plan, monitor, and report on cost and schedule baselines, forecast financials, and support project controls for major TVA initiatives at the corporate office. Strong knowledge of project controls and relevant software is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field + 3+ years of cost engineering or project controls experience (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in project control concepts, cost engineering, risk management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with Primavera (P6), Maximo, PowerPlan, C-55, and SharePoint; PowerBI a plus.
• Ability to obtain/maintain unescorted plant access and medical qualifications; willingness to travel or support on-call/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cost, schedule baselines, and performance trends against baselines and recommend improvements.
• Prepare financial reports, risk assessments, monthly forecasting, accruals, and journal vouchers.
• Support project lifecycle activities: initiation, funding requests, change requests, budgets, and closeouts.
• Coordinate with engineering, plant operations, and contractors using advanced project management tools.
