Job summary

TEEMA seeks a Sr. Structural Engineer - Power / Nuclear in Glen Rose, TX. The role focuses on leading structural design packages, coordinating engineers and vendors, and ensuring on-schedule delivery for complex power/nuclear projects.

You will prepare calculations, assess supports and seismic criteria, and interface with plant stakeholders to define scope and support startup activities. A PE license and nuclear plant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required, ability to obtain PE in Texas.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial steel and concrete design experience.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.
• Experience developing structural modification packages.
• Familiar with nuclear standards and guidelines.
• NANTeL Certified in the Nuclear Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-01).
• Field experience at an operating nuclear plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering activities, prepare design change packages, and coordinate engineers and vendors.
• Prepare structural calculations and evaluations for piping, supports, racks, anchoring, and seismic assessments.
• Interface with plant stakeholders to define scope and support construction/startup activities.
• Review work for accuracy and code compliance, coordinate with other disciplines.
• Develop material and workhour estimates and project schedules.
