Job summary

Framatome in Richland, WA is seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements in a 24/7 nuclear manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, nuclear safety, QA, maintenance, and contractors to ensure safe, compliant execution.

The role requires strong PM skills across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change control, plus experience in regulated facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years related experience in a similar role.
• Business and/or technical expertise in a related capacity.
• Good communication skills to work with all levels of staff and management, vendors, and customers.
• Good problem identification and root cause analysis.
• Excellent report development and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Feasibility & intake: document technical needs for upgrades, assess feasibility, identify impacts, support risk assessments, develop concepts, create scopes and schedules, prepare proposals, coordinate with stakeholders, identify outage windows.
• Project Planning & Initiation: develop detailed project plans with nuclear safety controls, lead planning reviews, hazard analyses, readiness verifications, coordinate procurement and communications.
• Project Execution: oversee daily activities in compliance with procedures, coordinate craft labor and contractors in controlled areas, track schedule/budget, elevate variances, align with production priorities, maintain configuration management and support testing.
• Closeout: ensure QA documentation archived, validate updates to procedures/drawings, conduct lessons learned and support financial closeout.
