Job summary

Framatome seeks a maintenance technician to support industrial and nuclear energy facilities. You will perform HVAC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repairs across chillers, air handlers, and ventilation systems.

You will operate forklifts, read blueprints, and interpret mechanical diagrams while following OSHA safety standards. Must have 2+ years of related experience and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience is required.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings, understand mechanical symbols and use hand tools related to the job.
• Ability to analyze and identify problem.
• Good communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience in an industrial or commercial setting (chillers, air handlers, compressors, ventilation systems)
• Fork truck operation experience with safe material handling practices
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and manuals for mechanical and facility systems
• Preventive and predictive maintenance, including lubrication and inspections
• Basic electrical knowledge to support cross-functional maintenance tasks
• Welding and fabrication for repair and modification of equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards in an industrial environment
• Experience in regulated industries with strict procedural compliance
• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
• Work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced maintenance environment
