Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical expertise across nuclear plant systems. The role supports online work week scheduling, operability evaluations, and post-work testing with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will lead root cause analyses, coordinate projects, and prepare technical recommendations. The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering (Electrical or Nuclear preferred) and 6+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering; Electrical or Nuclear preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to walkdown/inspect plants.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support emergent, short-cycle engineering work to protect the work week schedule.
• Act as engineering point of contact for online work week and resolution of engineering Holds.
• Provide input for operability evaluations and testing procedures.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis (e.g., FMEA).
• Prepare and present technical reports with recommendations for issue resolution.
• Coordinate projects and initiatives through completion.
• Ensure safety policies are followed.
