Job summary

Constellation Energy Generation, LLC. is seeking a qualified individual to monitor and operate nuclear station equipment in the control room.

The role involves starting, stopping and regulating reactor and turbine systems, as well as maintaining procedures for safe plant operation. The candidate must meet minimum education/experience criteria, pass required examinations, and be able to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and one of:
• 1 year of technical experience in power production, petrochemical or similar industrial plants; or 2 years in operations/maintenance of a non-generating nuclear facility; or BS in engineering/related field; or AS in engineering/related field; or 43 post-secondary credits with 8 courses in math/physics/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor nuclear reactor and auxiliary systems in the control room under procedures.
• Start/stop/adjust pumps, valves, and equipment as required.
• Monitor indicators, perform data calculations, and respond to alarms.
• Initiate actions during abnormal conditions and emergencies per procedures.
• Support station fire brigade and assist supervision in coordinating operations.
• Follow corrective actions and contribute to outage/refueling activities.
