Job summary

Southern Nuclear, a subsidiary of Southern Company, is seeking a Nuclear Planning Specialist (Site Projects) to develop detailed work plans for plant design modifications and coordinate with Site Project Leads and Design Engineers to ensure quality work packages.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a demanding nuclear environment. Shift work and call-out duties may occur, with on-site responsibilities at Vogtle in Waynesboro, GA.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of planning experience at a nuclear power plant.
• Knowledge of plant modification planning process, tools and programs.
• Experience with Maximo is required.
• Modification planning experience and a SNC planning qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans for plant design modifications and coordinate with Site Project Leads and Design Engineers.
• Attend project meetings and communicate with management.
• Incorporate SNC Fleet Lessons learned and Industry OE in work packages.
