Job summary

Arc Energy Services is seeking a pipefitter to read drawings and install piping systems at our sites in Virginia. The role involves assembling pipe, hangers, and supports, using power tools for metal fabrication, and preparing piping for welding with bevels and ISI prep.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in industrial pipe fitting, can pass pre-employment tests, and can travel as needed. TWIC card is a plus, and reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum industrial pipe fitting experience; nuclear experience a plus.
• Able to pass basic pre-employment pipefitter test at home office.
• Willing to travel extensively and work variable hours.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings/design change procedures to install piping systems.
• Install, modify, and/or repair piping systems, pipe hangers, and supports.
• Use power and hand tools including grinders, drills, and other metal fabrication tools.
• Prep piping for welding and perform bevels; post weld ISI prep.
• Adhere to site and company rules, PPE requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
