Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is hiring a Nuclear Pharmacy Technician to support radiopharmaceuticals delivery under strict regulatory guidelines. You will work on-site in Columbus, GA, with a schedule Monday–Friday and occasional on-call weekends, and participate in radiation safety tasks and QA testing.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid pharmacy technician license, and prior experience. Cardiac Health offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• State Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
• National pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
• Cardinal Health nuclear pharmacy training or prior nuclear tech experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescriptions by typing labels and obtaining pharmacist approval.
• Compound medications per state laws and obtain endorsement.
• Draw doses into syringes or vials and perform QA tests.
• Document and store incoming/outgoing pharmaceuticals per regulations.
• Maintain inventory and records for radioactive materials and Rx drugs.
• Assist labeling of blood cell products and elute generators.
• Perform radiation safety tasks and may provide training.
