Cardinal Health in California is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, prep for daily activities, and assist pharmacists with dispensing radioactive medications under SOPs. You will process orders and handle administrative tasks to ensure patient satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, a CA Pharmacy Technician license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Overtime may be required; weekend rotations apply.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent strongly preferred.
• CA Pharmacy Technician license required for California.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Overtime availability may be required.
• Customer/vendor credentialing may be required (vaccinations).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in preparing facility for daily operations through cleaning, equipment testing, inventory maintenance, restocking, and preparing reports and other records.
• Follow SOPs to organize, prepare and dispense radioactive medications per manufacturers and customer needs.
• Process customer orders to ensure timely delivery of medications to patients.
• Perform administrative pharmacy tasks, including billing and answering questions to support operations.
• Maintain pharmacy safety by completing daily infection control procedures.
• Mentor and train pharmacy tech trainees.
