Cardinal Health in California seeks a Radiopharmacy Technician to support radiopharmaceutical preparation and dispensing in accordance with prescriptions and federal/state regulations. The role includes answering telephone orders, learning order systems, and ensuring safety and quality.

This position requires a Bachelor’s or PharmD license, strong customer service, manual dexterity to handle doses, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and/or PharmD required.
• Valid Pharmacist license in the state or in process.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for radiopharmacy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work varying shifts.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive in all weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Take telephone orders from Cardinal Health customers.
• Learn Order Receipt and Order Entry systems and relevant drug details.
• Comply with BOP and radiopharmacy regulations.
• Prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals per prescription and regulations.
• Oversee Nuclear Pharmacy Technicians where permitted by law.
• Perform quality control and package doses for shipping.
• Enter elutions, kit preparations and inventory records daily.
• Maintain stock room and 5S visuals.
• Train new pharmacy staff as needed.
• Deliver doses if necessary.
