Job summary

SOFIE Co. in Haverhill, MA is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacist I to compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals in a cleanroom, with exposure to radiation. The role reports to Network Operations and supports the Quality Assurance program at site level.

Responsibilities include cGMP compliance, data entry with Pinestar, batch record review with QA, and supervision of nuclear pharmacy technicians. State license required; nuclear certification preferred; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist education from an accredited school.
• State license required; nuclear certification preferred.
• Experience in nuclear pharmacy and radiopharmaceuticals advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Compound, dispense, and distribute radiopharmaceuticals with data entry in Pinestar.
• Perform synthesis, quality control, and QA of FDG and NaF.
• Ensure compliance with USP <797>, <823>, <825>, and state regs; maintain licensure.
• Adhere to SOPs and cGMP; support QA programs and site procedures.
• Oversee aseptic operations, safety, and environmental monitoring.
• Maintain training records and supervise nuclear pharmacy staff.
• Review batch records with QA and participate in change controls.
• Collaborate on investigations, CAPAs, deviations, and OOS issues.
• Coordinate with QA to address complaints and ensure quality.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
