SOFIE Co. is hiring a Nuclear Pharmacist I in Totowa, NJ. The role involves compounding and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals within a controlled clean room environment, with exposure to radiation. The position reports to Pharmacist-in-Charge and Facility Manager and supports QA initiatives locally.

Applicants should have a B.S. or Pharm.D. and be prepared to obtain state licensure post-hire; nuclear certification is preferred. Travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree with nuclear certification preferred.
• State license required (to be obtained post-hire if applicable).
• Background in nuclear pharmacy, Positron Emission Tomography, radiation safety or cyclotron processes preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals in a clean room.
• Ensure compliance with USP <797>, <823>, proposed <825>, and state requirements.
• Maintain cGMP through SOPs and QA programs.
• Perform data entry for end-of-day reports and dose management reports.
• Review and release batch records with QA.
• Train and supervise nuclear pharmacy technicians.
