Job summary

SOFIE in Cleveland, OH is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our radiopharmaceutical team as Nuclear Pharmacist I. You will compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals and work in a clean room to support diagnostic and therapeutic care.

You will ensure USP , , and related regulations, contribute to the QA program, review batch records, and mentor nuclear pharmacy technicians. This high‑tech, fast‑paced environment rewards precision and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist degree from an accredited school is required; nuclear certification is preferred.
  • State license required (to be obtained post‑hire if applicable).
  • Strong reading, writing, and presentation skills with regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Compound, dispense, and distribute radiopharmaceuticals with data entry in Pinestar for end‑of‑day and daily dose reports.
  • Synthesize, perform quality control and QA of FDG and NaF, including reagent prep.
  • Ensure compliance with USP <797>, <823>, and applicable regulations; maintain licenses.
  • Write and review internal procedures and assist QA with investigations, CAPAs, deviations.
  • Open change controls and maintain site procedures; monitor metrology and calibration.
  • Train and supervise nuclear pharmacy technicians; participate in meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
