Framatome in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Technical Training Operations Manager to lead and develop the Installed Base Outage Services training team. You will oversee technical programs supporting BWR, PWR, and Stearns Roger Services, ensuring staff qualifications and ongoing development for internal teams and external customers.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process standardization, and strategic growth of training capabilities in a fast-paced nuclear services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Minimum of 10 years related technical experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• Advanced knowledge of related technical standards, techniques and criteria.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.
• Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full time training staff and a team of local, part time instructors
• Assess qualification and competency needs across the organization
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical training programs
• Drive continuous improvement of training content, delivery methods, and training mock ups
• Ensure timely, high quality communication and deliverables for internal and external customers
• Support strategic development of training capabilities aligned with business growth
