Job summary

SGS Consulting in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Nuclear Project Manager to lead large-scale capital projects supporting refueling and maintenance outages. You will plan, schedule, execute, and monitor projects with teams of 5–10, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field with 14+ years in a regulated industrial or nuclear environment, PM certification, and proficiency in Primavera P6, EVM, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 14 years of technical field experience; or AS with 16 years; or HS diploma with 18 years.
• Project Management certification is required.
• Experience in regulated industrial or nuclear environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects and outages with planning, scheduling, execution, and control.
• Direct teams of 5–10 personnel and manage scope, cost, and safety.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Engineering; develop plans and budgets.
• Provide status updates and presentations to senior leadership.
• Apply EVM, risk management, and ALARA principles to project execution.
