Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Junior Planner 2 to support project and outage execution at the D.C. Cook Nuclear Plant. The role focuses on developing work packages for I&C and electrical work, coordinating with project managers, schedulers, and station staff to deliver field-ready plans.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering background and some industry experience, with strong attention to detail and proficiency in planning tools. On-site work at the nuclear plant is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 1+ year industry experience (or equivalent).
• Alternative pathways acceptable with documented industry experience.
• Apprenticeship/Journeyman route with 1+ year industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop field-ready work plans and planning packages for outages and modifications.
• Assist with online and outage planning, including task sequencing and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with project teams to support efficient execution.
• Prepare and update planning documents, material coordination, and turnover information.
• Verify scope, walkdown needs, and resource assumptions for assigned work.
• Collaborate to resolve planning conflicts and address risks.
