Qualifications

  • 5+ years of power plant, construction, military, or similar operations experience.
  • Experience in planning or scheduling within complex industrial environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and organizes preventive and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment and systems
  • Creates clear and concise work instructions that are sequenced in a logical, efficient manner
  • Ensures work instructions are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Reviews and interprets Engineering Change implementation requirements
  • As required, conducts field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventative maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities
  • Coordinates with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering on work instruction requirements
  • Supports required testing of updates to new and existing planning and scheduling applications
  • As required, supports all of the NextEra Energy nuclear sites
  • As required, takes on lead planner role
  • Provides mentorship to junior planner schedulers

We are searching for a Nuclear Planner Maintenance/Construction on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) The Nuclear Planner, Senior is a critical role responsible for the strategic planning, sequencing/scheduling, and documentation of maintenance, projects, and operational work within a nuclear power plant. This role interfaces with various plant departments to ensure the timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and operational schedules. As required, the Nuclear Planner Scheduler will occasionally fill in as the site lead. Employees in this role will attend Site/ Fleet Online/Outage and other meetings, as required, representing the department.

1-year contract assignment. (W-2)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 5+ years of power plant, construction, military, or similar experience in operations, maintenance, or work management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Trade School Graduate
  • Technical Certificate Program
  • Nuclear Experience: 5+ years
  • 3+ years of power plant, construction, military or similar planning or scheduling experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $60.00/hr. to $65.00/hr.
