Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Nuclear Training Specialist to oversee the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant-specific nuclear training programs.

The role involves coordinating performance-based training, ensuring alignment with INPO and NRC directives, and managing trainee assessments across multiple environments. Strong emphasis on compliance and auditable records, with involvement in audits and outage support.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma/GED with 6+ years related experience in nuclear, test reactor, or power plant operations.
• Alternative pathways include an Associate degree with 4+ years experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience in engineering or related fields.
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.5.4) standard for selection, qualification, and training of personnel for nuclear power plants.
• Maintain access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Drives and coordinates training programs for Reactor Operator/Non-Licensed Operator as required.
• Ensures training remains current with INPO reports, NRC bulletins, and design change information.
• Prepares trainee exams and conducts evaluations across classroom, lab, OJT, and simulator settings.
• Supports business initiatives, project management, outage support, and emergency preparedness duties.
• Participates in NRC, INPO, and management audits and documents audit responses.
• Maintains knowledge of plant operations and training techniques to ensure high-quality programs.
• Supervises collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports.
• Performs additional duties, including outage support and coverage as needed.
