Job summary

Constellation Energy in Clinton, IL is seeking Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators. Successful candidates will complete NRC licensing and supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room, progressing toward independent operation.

The program includes classroom and on-the-job training, with emergency response and outage support. Relocation assistance may be offered; SRO certification and related experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• May require Reactor Operator license or equivalent certification.
• Engineering degree or PE license may be considered in lieu of extensive reactor experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job components.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license.
• Perform duties including emergency response, outage support, and supervision of operators as licensed.
