Job summary

Constellation Energy seeks Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The role trains to supervise licensed reactor operators in the NRC-regulated control room.

Upon completion, the candidate will be fully licensed and may supervise bargaining unit operators and equipment operators during shifts, with opportunities for advancement and competitive compensation including a bonus program and relocation

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include a 4-year engineering/physical sciences degree or PE license and related experience.
• SRO Instructor certification or equivalent licensing experience is required or highly preferred.
• Experience with reactor operation, safety practices, and regulatory requirements is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training and examinations, plus on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and department coverage as needed.
