Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in northern New Mexico seeks a Group Leader for the PSD-3 Division. You will manage and provide leadership to approximately 85 technicians, scientists, engineers, floor supervisors and first line managers, shaping work scope and performance.

You will represent the organization on technical, operational and administrative issues to internal and external customers, and define capabilities and requirements that translate into work scope, cost, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience executing programmatic work in compliance with nuclear facility requirements and the authorization basis under 10 CFR 830 and 10 CFR 835.
• Experience executing work in compliance with DOE O 474.2 Nuclear Material and Accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide administrative and technical leadership to PSD-3 group of about 85 personnel including technicians, scientists and engineers.
• Represent the organization on technical, operational and administrative issues to internal and external customers.
• Define business unit capabilities and translate into work scope, cost, and scheduling.
