Responsibilities

• Independently provides advanced practitioner procedural activities for patients using correct selection of technical factors and understanding physics for quality procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning.
• Explain procedures to patients, considering physical and emotional needs.
• Record images as directed for radiologist interpretation.
• May provide direction to staff and students and maintain pertinent records.
