Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a per-diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures with attention to safety and radiologic standards. The role emphasizes independent work, teaching, and collaboration with radiologists and nurses in a hospital setting.

The position supports flexible hours around a 7:00am–3:30pm window, with parking options and shuttle service, and MBTA access. Prior NM tech experience and current licensure eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
• NMTCB or ARRT certification.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist state license eligible.
• Four years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures on patients as assigned.
• Verify patient and procedure to be performed.
• Provide clear and accurate instructions to patients.
• Verify and perform correct imaging protocol and scanner parameters.
• Ensure patient and staff safety for equipment used.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.
• Perform quality control on equipment and devices as required.
• Communicate with other staff and departments to coordinate care.
• Maintain supply stock and request stock as needed.
