Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide procedures and operate imaging equipment. The role requires safety-minded professionals with strong communication skills and experience in nuclear medicine technology.

You will use EPIC and PACS daily, rotate between Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT, and participate in on-call and weekend shifts. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible full-time hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT(N) and/or CNMT Registry.
• NJ State License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office/Google Suite).
• Minimum of one year Nuclear Medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs radionuclide procedures on patients including organ imaging and function studies.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed.
• Provides radiation protection for self and patient per safety guidelines.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Maintains records of radioisotope receipt, use, storage and disposal.
• Rotates duties between Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT.
• Performs required daily clerical duties using EPIC, PACS, Teletracking and Nuclear Medicine Information System.
