Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Morrell Corners, NJ. The role involves performing radionuclide imaging and therapies, operating NM equipment, and ensuring safety and quality of procedures.

You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, calibrate devices, and maintain compliance with NRC and state regulations while coordinating with physicians and staff for accurate patient studies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Perform radionuclide procedures for organ imaging and function studies.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed and ensure safety.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Calibrate equipment and verify radioisotope activity.
• Maintain records of radioisotope receipt, storage, and disposal.
• Ensure contamination-free room and equipment; follow NRC and state guidelines.
• Use PACS to evaluate images and ensure diagnostic quality.
• Handle daily clerical tasks in EPIC, PACS, and related systems.
• Work shifts including holidays and weekends; on-call as required.
