Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and operate related equipment. The role requires ARRT(N) or CNMT certification and NJ state licensure, with strong communication and computer skills.
The candidate will participate in safety protocols and documentation and may rotate to Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT as needed. The position offers a starting hourly rate with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- ARRT(N) and/or CNMT Registry; NJ State License required.
Responsibilities
- Perform radionuclide procedures for organ imaging and function studies.
- Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed.
- Ensure radiation safety and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate records of radioisotope handling and disposal per regulations.
- Evaluate images using PACS to ensure diagnostic quality.
- Perform daily clerical duties using EPIC, PACS, and related systems.
- Rotate between Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT as needed.
