Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Staff Technologist to perform acquisition and processing of NM exams, including Nuclear Cardiology studies, while ensuring quality Control of equipment. The role requires careful handling of radiopharmaceuticals and adherence to NRC/NJDEP safety rules.

Responsibilities include after-hours call coverage and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of clinical training through NM training program or college requirements.
• Graduation from an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT Radiology license or CNMT certification and NJ Nuclear Medicine license.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and process all Nuclear Medicine exams including Nuclear Cardiology studies.
• Quality control of Nuclear Medicine equipment.
• Safe handling of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
• Weekday, weekend and holiday call for after hour emergencies.
• Comply with NRC and NJDEP radiation safety regulations.
