Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our radiology team. The role involves preparing and administering radioactive materials, performing imaging studies, and collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree and the required Texas radiologic technology licenses/certifications, and demonstrates strong patient communication and safety practices.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• Licensure/certification: TMB RT, CNMT or ARRT(N), BLS/ACLS.
• NMTCB/ARRT(N) certification required.

Mansioni

• Perform Nuclear Medicine exams in a timely manner and document findings.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, and technologists.
• Assess patient condition to optimize imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Provide direct patient care in a safe, comforting environment.
• Maintain equipment and supplies per policy.
• Perform Point of Care procedures and quality control.
• Document required information and comply with standards.
