Qualifikationen

• ARRT and NMTCB certification standards are followed.

• Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• CNMT or ARRT-R certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist license required.

Aufgaben

• Produce scans with high diagnostic quality across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Follow established imaging protocols and isotope dosage guidelines; adjust for age or disease as needed.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, computers and related equipment efficiently.
• Maintain ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Explain procedures to patients and families in clear terms and ensure patient safety.
