Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic radionuclide procedures for patients from adolescents to geriatrics, under the Nuclear Imaging Director. You will calibrate equipment, maintain records and ensure quality results while managing supply/inventory and participating in quality improvement.

Requirements include AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine training, NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification, ongoing CE, BLS/ACLS recommended, and 3–6 years hospital Nuclear

Qualifications

• AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification
• Maintain registry
• BLS/ACLS recommended
• 3–6 years hospital Nuclear Medicine experience including nuclear cardiology
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• CNMT or ARRT-R Radiography certification

Responsibilities

• Performs simple and complex radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric.
• Performs calibrations and quality control on equipment and maintains accurate records.
• Maintains supply/inventory and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Responsible for maintaining a Radioactive Materials License and related duties as assigned.
