Job summary

HCA HealthONE in Colorado is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to perform radionuclide imaging for adolescent through geriatric patients, calibrate and QC equipment, maintain records, and contribute to quality improvement.

You will also handle supply/inventory, manage the Radioactive Materials License, and assist with additional duties as assigned by the Nuclear Imaging Director. Requires AMA approved training and NMTCB/ARRT(N) certification; BLS/ACLS recommended.

Qualifications

  • AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program completed.
  • Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification.
  • 3–6 years hospital Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients from adolescents to geriatrics.
  • Perform calibrations and quality control on imaging equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure quality diagnostic results.

Job description

Hourly Wage Estimate: $43.23 - $64.85 per hour.

Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN

Position Summary: This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE to optimize the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Nuclear Imaging Director, the candidate performs simple and complex radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric, performs all calibrations and quality control on equipment, maintains accurate records, and provides quality diagnostic results. The role also involves supply/inventory management, quality improvement activities, and maintenance of a Radioactive Materials License. When need arises, the candidate will perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Position Requirements
  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program. Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N) and maintenance of current registry. Continual education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level. Must maintain BLS, ACLS recommended.
  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program. Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
  • Prefer 3-6 years of recent hospital Nuclear Medicine experience, including nuclear cardiology. Skills commensurate with formal training requirements.
