Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate care while performing Nuclear Medicine exams per department protocols. The role requires independent judgment, setup of imaging equipment, patient positioning, and collaboration with physicians and technologists.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of clinical NM experience, ARRT-CNMT or ARRT-R, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT-R or CNMT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies clinician orders for procedures and reviews patient history.
• Generates and interprets diagnostic imaging results with trained staff.
• Operates radiopharmaceuticals following safety procedures to protect patients.
• Maintains patient privacy and comfort during exams and ensures proper preprocedural verification.
