Job summary

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital in Orlando is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our imaging team. You will prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for diagnostic studies and follow physician orders with precision.

This PRN position works within our radiology department, offering a comprehensive benefits package and the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care across a full range of imaging services. Required Florida licensure, ARRT(N) or CNMT, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
• Current Florida license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist and ARRT(N) or CNMT credential.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes for diagnostic procedures.
• Follows physician orders, prepares equipment, positions patients, and conducts studies.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and licensed therapeutic procedures utilizing a variety of equipment according to the provisions of the facility's Radioactive Materials License. Follows physician orders, prepares equipment, positions patients, and correctly and accurately conducts studies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, required
• Commpletion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
• Current Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the State of Florida and ARRT(N) or CNMT, required

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
