Job summary

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital in Kissimmee, FL is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive isotopes. You will prepare equipment, position patients, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards under physician orders.

The role requires Florida licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and ARRT(N) or CNMT certification, plus completion of an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
• Current Florida license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist and ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and licensed therapeutic procedures according to the facility's license and physician orders.
• Follows physician orders, prepares equipment, positions patients, and accurately conducts studies.
• Maintains radiation safety standards and quality imaging practices.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Schedule: Rotating Weekdays/Weekends 7:00am - 5:30pm

[10 hour shifts; 20 hours per week as Part-Time]

Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and licensed therapeutic procedures utilizing a variety of equipment according to the provisions of the facility's Radioactive Materials License. Follows physician orders, prepares equipment, positions patients, and correctly and accurately conducts studies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, required
• Commpletion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
• Current Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the State of Florida and ARRT(N) or CNMT, required

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
