HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our imaging team on an as-needed basis. You will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures with attention to patient safety and quality imaging, under physician orders.

The role emphasizes precise isotope administration, image acquisition, and adherence to regulatory requirements while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy hospital environment.

Competenze

• BCLS required.
• Completion of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
• Current Florida state license and ARRT(N) or CNMT.

Mansioni

• Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Follow physician orders, prepare equipment, position patients, and conduct studies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and radiopharmacy standards.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and licensed therapeutic procedures utilizing a variety of equipment according to the provisions of the facility's Radioactive Materials License. Follows physician orders, prepares equipment, positions patients, and correctly and accurately conducts studies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, required
• Commpletion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
• Current Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the State of Florida and ARRT(N) or CNMT, required

We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
