• Graduate from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine licensure.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

Job Summary

As a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform established nuclear medicine procedures, conduct calibration and quality checks, practicing radiation safety and universal precautions at all times.

You will order, prepare, and store radiopharmaceuticals; administer intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by a physician, and administer radioisotopes parenterally when legally permitted.

• Collaborate with physicians to adjust diagnostic study plans.
• Manipulate raw data and review studies for correct positioning and quality.
• Perform decontamination procedures and maintain security of hot and decay areas.
• Participate in on-call duties and variable shifts to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine licensure.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
