Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a PET CT Technologist to perform dose preparation, image acquisition, processing and quality control for diagnostic and therapeutic studies. The role requires strong knowledge of Nuclear Medicine, PET and CT equipment and adherence to safety standards.

The candidate will work within a multispecialty team, ensuring accurate dosages, proper documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• CNMT and PET certification by NMTCB or ARRT(N) with NMTCB PET certification.
• Florida license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist and CT Technologist; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine, PET, CT and related imaging procedures.
• Maintains quality control and documentation perFlorida DOH Radiation Control.
• Orders and administers radiopharmaceuticals as required and ensures patient safety.
• Maintains records per Florida Department of Health regulations.
• Participates in ALARA Radiation Safety Program and process improvement activities.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, Joint Commission, FDA, NRC, and state regulations.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology

CNMT & PET certification by NMTCB

ARRT(N) & NMTCB PET certification

Florida license: Nuclear Medicine Technologist and CTTechnologist

BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
