Job summary

Orlando Health Imaging Center Spring Lake in Orlando, FL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position handles diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, PET scanning, and radiopharmacy functions, supporting physician interpretation and patient care.

Qualified candidates will be graduates of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program, licensed in Florida, and certified where required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine, therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scanning, cardiac stress lab functions, and radiopharmacy functions as required.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Performs all nuclear medicine dynamic, static and functional procedures required by specific studies.
• Orders and administers radiopharmaceuticals including positron emitters as required.
