Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Nuclear Med Technologist for full-time day shifts to perform nuclear medicine and PET exams with a focus on patient safety and comfort. You will handle studies involving vasculature and organ systems, following ALARA and radiation safety principles in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires state licensure, ARRT TX certification, PM, and two years of hospital experience in nuclear medicine with fusion imaging.

Qualifications

• State of California DHS License (N) (R) required.
• ARRT CT and/or NMTCB PET certification required.
• Two years of AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
• Two years’ hospital experience in nuclear medicine with fusion imaging.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine and PET exams maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Exams include all parts of vasculature structures and organ systems.
• Adheres to ALARA and radiation safety practices.
