Qualifications

• Current A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radioactive materials for administration to patients.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals through various routes.
• Perform a variety of imaging studies using specialized nuclear medicine equipment.
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols.
• Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment.

Skills

Current State Nuclear Medicine License

Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment

Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

Proficient computer skills

Education

Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
