Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Texas is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine exams, prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment to support physicians. Shifts may start as early as 7 AM and extend to 9 PM, with weekends and on-call requirements.

Licensure by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) or ARRT-N/NMTCB, BLS, and related certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients.
• Demonstrates compassionate patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine exams on patients and prepares patients for procedures.
• Administers radioactive isotopes and maps radiopharmaceuticals using imaging equipment.
• Ensures quality and safety of images and reports to physicians.
• Maintains departmental policies and participates in continuing education.
