Bronson Healthcare in Battle Creek is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time role (48 hours per pay period) at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.

You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, calibrate equipment, and work under radiologist supervision to deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring radiation safety. The position requires ARRT or NMTCB registration within six months and BLS within two months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program recognized by ARRT or NMTCB.
• At least three months of clinical training.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB registration within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within two months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Receives, prepares, and returns radiopharmaceuticals per policies and workflows.
• Communicates with hospital personnel regarding scheduling and radiation safety.
• Calibrates and operates a dose calibrator and Geiger Counter for exams.
• Under radiologist direction, administers radiopharmaceuticals orally or intravenously.
• Consults radiologist to clarify orders or discuss unusual situations.
• Operates gamma cameras and performs routine quality control daily/weekly/monthly.
• Reports malfunctions or necessary repairs promptly.
• Maintains records for safe disposal of nuclear waste per NRC and Bronson policies.
• Follows spill procedures and responds promptly to incidents.
