Job summary

Community Medical Center is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate under the Nuclear Medicine department. The role involves radiopharmaceutical handling, imaging procedures, and maintenance of NRC-compliant records, with a day shift and part-time schedule totaling 20 hours per week.

The position offers hourly compensation in New Jersey, with a $12,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and a focus on guest relations and clinical quality within RWJBarnabas Health’s network.

Qualifications

• NJ State license is required.
• ARRT or NMTCB registry required or registry-eligible.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Successful completion of IV training.
• Radiation safety, survey and decontamination training as required.

Responsibilities

• Check, measure and record radiopharmaceuticals prior to administration.
• Perform quality controls on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients (intravenous, oral, or inhalation).
• Perform imaging procedures.
• Maintain records under Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required by the department.
