Community Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Nuclear Medicine department. The role involves handling radiopharmaceuticals, performing imaging procedures, and maintaining records under NRC guidelines.

The position is part-time, day shift, located in New Jersey, with an hourly pay range and a $12,000 sign-on bonus for external hires. A NJ license and ARRT/NMTCB certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• NJ State license.
• Registered by the ARRT or the NMTCB, or Registry eligible.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Successful completion of site personnel general orientation and department specific orientation.
• Successful completion of IV training class.
• Successful completion of radiation safety, survey and decontamination orientation/training by RS.

Responsibilities

• Check, measure and record radiopharmaceuticals prior to administering to patients.
• Performs quality controls on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients intravenously, orally or by inhalation.
• Performs imaging procedures.
• Maintains reliable records under the guidelines of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
• Performs other duties as required by the department.
