Minneola is nestled in South Lake County, just a short drive to Orlando, featuring stunning landscapes and parks. The community is growing, with new developments near the AdventHealth Minneola campus, which includes an 80-bed hospital offering inpatient care, emergency services, imaging, and more.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform radiographic imaging independently, handle and prepare radionuclides, administer medications, maintain records, assist with procedures, and ensure patient safety. They will also perform clerical duties and assist in the radiology department, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.

• Perform quality nuclear imaging exams using proper equipment and radiation safety practices.
• Verify prescriptions, prepare and administer radionuclides, and monitor schedules to prevent conflicts.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for quality assurance and compliance.
• Use computer systems effectively to start and complete exams, and send images to PACS.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Associate degree from an accredited program
• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• BLS certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program
• One-year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
